Use truth table in order to arrive in the correct conclusion.

1st Scenario:

Three people — James, Katie, and Luke — are discussing their plans for the weekend. Each of them makes a statement about whether they will be attending a party.

• James says: "If Katie is going to the party, then Luke is going."

• Katie says: "James is not going to the party, or I am going."

• Luke says: "If James is not going to the party, then Katie is going."

Goal:

Determine who is telling the truth and who is lying, assuming that exactly one person is lying. Use a truth table to solve the puzzle.
