In an era of global warming, the use of fossil fuels is being reduced. As refrigeration is a major user of power in the home, a worker hypothesized that the cold concrete floor is an option in which some foodstuffs can be stored. The worker studied the effect of concrete floors on the speed of delaying the ripening of vegetables.

Fifteen green tomatoes were placed on a concrete floor in a closed room. Beside this lot, a cardboard box, open at the top, contained twelve green tomatoes from the same batch as that of the ones on the concrete floor.

After two days the observations showed:

Tomatoes in the open cardboard box:

- 2 red

- 6 slightly reddening

- 4 still green

Tomatoes on the floor:

- 1 red

- 4 slightly reddening

- 11 still green

Task #1:

1. Change the figures to eliminate all observations lower than 5

2. Show your calculations, clearly presenting the consecutive steps.
